GREAT ARCHITECTURE is the result of a collaborative effort between thoughtful designers and skilled craftsmen with a cohesive thought process and an attention to detail that begins with an idea and ends at the constructed finish. The final product is only as successful as this collaboration since first and foremost, architecture is about habitation – architecturally inspiring the senses and constructively welcoming the touch. When the idea is being guided by these principles, the result is humanistic and timeless. Sometimes the quality of great architecture and great spaces cannot be verbalized, but we can understand it through emotion and relate to it through its scale, proportion and appropriateness.

 

 

 

 

We are a design and construction studio. We are architects, developers and contractors and at heart, modernists. Modern architecture is simply a thorough understanding of the site, the building that will occupy it and the materials and methods by which it will be constructed. The ability to engage beauty with passive technologies and state of the art processes of fabrication is our charge. Our office takes pride in the work that we do and the way we work. It is both a complex process and yet straightforward. A constant dialogue and a constant exchange between sketch and fabrication allows us to understand the site, the details of construction and the quality of space well before construction begins. It is not a process that we invented but instead is a hands-on philosophy that has evolved with us through the decades of our work.
